I needed an antiglare screen for my mac and did some research and decided to pick this one. I couldn't be happier with the results.
I purchased comparable product to this one when I first bought my MacBook Pro. The was definitely a grainy factor but I got used to it. Eventually took it off as my warranty came to an end and wanted to work with it off and enjoy the beautiful of the retina. beautiful screen but tough in well lit, over exposed, sunlit rooms. I like to work in natural light if I can. There is a bit of glare still but screen can be adjusted until the light moves. I like this one better than my first one, $10 more is worth it.
I've been doing some research on anti-glare screen protectors to reduce eye strain and this one is a great product:
- It reduces glare significantly with little quality impact
- It covers the screen and margins
- Easy installation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16tvRvrhiAI
- Was able to get rid of all air bubbles
- Protection from scratches and fingerprints
There is a review of the product here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ou-gKul2Gh4 which made me look into this product more.
Great Film and its really easy to install with no bubbles at all! Need to be very very patient though, there's a technique to it. I'm really happy with it.
To call it a film is a bit of a misnomer as it has substantial thickness that allows for repositioning or reapplication without damaging the material. It does not interfere with the brightness in any appreciable way. It does not cause aliasing or mosaic effects. There are no adhesives but it does have a slightly tacky feel to it on the backside. If you find yourself getting tiny pet hairs stuck to it during installation, just use the sticky side of a piece of tape to remove them. The quality of this film is worth it and the ability to repeatedly reposition until perfect is what stands out most.
